Our Team

Said Ramírez and Sally Isáis

Sally joined the Milamex team in 1982, answering a call she felt from God after graduating from Wheaton College. With a deep passion for worship as a way of life, she has led Milamex since 2002—a ministry her parents originally founded. As a writer, editor, mentor, and director of the ASAF choir, Sally feels privileged to empower a new generation eager to serve God through Milamex's various ministries. She is married to Said Ramirez, and together they have a daughter and a son, both of whom are married.

Cynthia and Carlos Rodiles

This energetic couple runs a ministry center in Mexico City that includes a guesthouse for backpackers, seekers and various start-ups. They give young adults and ministry leaders space to explore and pursue their calling in God’s mission. Their team coaches and empowers Latinos with strategy building, communications and networking to achieve greater impact in their communities. A Wheaton College graduate, Cynthia is a third-generation missionary.

Sara Trejo

Sara is the assistant editor for the different magazines and books published by Milamex. She’s the first contact between the writers and the publishing house. She provides follow-ups for amateur writers and schedules the content for our social media groups. Since 2002, she has been a regular contributor for Prisma magazine.

Adaía Sánchez

Adaía is developing the human resources and counseling department, creating processes and adapting resources that cater to the needs of nonprofits and ministries. She’s a Psychologist and missions coach. Her passion is to collaborate with ministries and mobilize people to find their place in God’s mission, walking with them in their growth and through the process of embracing their unique design.

Andrea Hernández

Andrea leads the coaching program at the Latin Center for Mobilization. Her heart is to have intentional one-on-one conversations with people, eager to attend to God’s invitation and get involved in His Mission. She also enjoys sharing valuable resources that add to the holistic growth of people. She also writes for the different publications of Milamex focusing on coaching, missions, millennials, leaders, professionals, and marriages.

Laura García

Laura is responsible for the financial books of Milamex. She’s been a part of the team for more than 15 years. Her diligence in managing the resources and donations helps us make our ministry projects possible.

Paola del Castillo

Paola is a graphic designer who has been part of the Milamex team since 2011. Her work includes editing manuscripts and overseeing the editorial design of Milamex's publications. She came to know Christ through the testimony of the granddaughter of Juan and Liz Isáis, the founders of Milamex. She later decided to follow Christ at Camp Kikotén, a ministry started by Milamex. Paola is married and has two children.

Oswaldo Tovar 

Oswaldo has worked at Milamex for over 20 years. His task is to establish contact with the bookstores that distribute our materials. He is also our messenger and supports all our ministries as a logistics assistant. His loyalty is a blessing and has made him a key member of the team.

Frida García

Frida is an editorial designer and illustrator. She creates visual content for Milamex’s online magazines, webpages and social media. She serves in her local church in San José del Cabo, BCS. She has a 5 year old son.

José Carlos Gutiérrez

José is an illustrator and graphic designer. His call to share the Gospel through graphic narrative began in 2005 when he won first place in the amateur category of the First International Christian Comic Contest organized by Comix35, the ministry that he is director of in its new facet: Comix35 Next Gen. Since then, he has collaborated with Milamex on many projects, with short comics for Prisma magazine, book illustrations, training courses, and webinars. His work has also appeared in publications in the United States, Kenya, Congo, and Cambodia.

Naomi Campos Laux

Naomi has studied psychology and taught in international schools in Mexico and Turkey. She is a certified life coach, passionate about seeing other people find their true identity and purpose. As a certified fitness coach by Revelation Wellness, she collaborates with our Intenzion ministry as well.

Diana Gómez

​​Diana is passionate about serving God through teaching and photography. She became involved with Milamex in 2018 and now leads the Intenzion team, a ministry to which God has clearly called her to share the message of the abundant life that Christ offers for all: which includes holistic health as we grow in awareness of His presence in every area of our life, including our bodies.

Keila Ochoa Harris

Keila is a Mexican author with more than twenty published books. She writes fiction and non-fiction, as well as teaching material. With more than 25 years of experience teaching kindergarten, elementary, youth and adults, she is a dedicated professional. She has written educational material for English Learning as a Second Language as well.

She currently writes devotional books and is the editor of the online magazine for young, single women: Esencia, from Milamex publishing house.

In addition to writing, Keila enjoys musical plays and traveling. She has shared her experiences as a writer in training courses in various parts of the world such as Brazil, Thailand, Peru, Bolivia, and the Philippines. She and her husband Abraham are passionate about missionary work and have lived in Turkey for four years. They have two children, Ibrahim and Jana.
